New Year’s Day Racing at Cheltenham Racecourse
Kick off 2022 in style and hotfoot it to Cheltenham Racecourse for a day jam-packed with excellent racing and superb entertainment. There are plenty of thrilling contests to get stuck into. This includes the Paddy Power Handicap Chase which, in 2020, saw one of the greatest finishes in many years, with Oldgrangewood coming out on top. Michael McIntyre: Work in Progress at The Everyman Theatre
He’s been in front of millions over the past decade, toured the world, packed out Wembley and the O2 Arena, and now stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre is stopping by to wow Cheltenham. Due to be Michael’s funniest tour yet, he’ll be trying out material for his hotly-anticipated new stand-up show Happy & Glorious. Best known for hosting his own television shows Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Michael McIntyre's Big Show, the energetic performer has also garnered a popular following as a judge on Britain's Got Talent and hosting the Royal Variety Performance. As The Telegraph put it: ‘The man is simply top-to-toe hilarious.’

Jazz at the Chapel
Chet Baker was one of the great jazz masters of all time. This January, you can hear his music performed live by some of the UK’s best jazz musicians. Trumpeter Quentin Collins, one of Britain’s top jazz players, will be taking to the stage. He has performed with a plethora of brilliant names including Fred Wesley, Kyle Eastwood and Mulatu Astatke – plus held an eight-year residency at Ronnie Scott’s with his quartet. Joining Quentin will be legendary drummer Tony Mann who performed with Chet Baker himself and Misha Mullov-Abbado, one of London’s most in-demand bass players.
