Glorious Twelfth Supper at The Wheatsheaf, The Hollow Bottom and The Crown
The Glorious Twelfth is nearly upon us – and we’ve got lots of exciting things planned. Hotfoot it to our 17th-century coaching inn, The Wheatsheaf, in the charming market town of Northleach, where we will be serving up a grouse special to usher in the shooting season. Otherwise, head to The Hollow Bottom, Gloucestershire’s premier racing pub, in Guiting Power or The Crown in Minchinhampton for a celebratory set menu – all created using the best of British ingredients. Couple that with a glass of Nyetimber on arrival, a half bottle of red wine per person (matched to the menu) and then a glass of Nyetimber Cherie paired with dessert.

Giffords Circus
Giffords Circus is back on the road. And as sensational as ever. Dedicated to the circus’ late founder Nell Gifford, this year’s show The Hooley is Irish-themed – so expect a wonderland of fairies, trolls, pixies, leprechauns, wild horses, Celtic music and dancing and all that Giffords magic. There will be a pixie acrobatic troupe performing catapults and catches; a troll and a fairy falling in love on the rings and a wizard showing off the intelligence of his flock of birds. The circus will be travelling across the Cotswolds with locations including Minchinhampton so grab a drink in The Crown before heading to the Big Top.
