What’s Happening this November…
Election Day at The Tavern
We’re joining in with all the action across the pond with an election day special at The Tavern. Come on down to our burger bonanza and cast your vote – by burger. Tuck into an epic Biden burger (think succulent aged beef and mature cheddar, a true classic) or devour a Trump tower burger with layers of meat and sumptuous naughty extras – all made using the best of local produce. We also have a bar team to be reckoned with so keep on theme and order a New York Sour (Bulleit Bourbon, Lemon, Sugar, Egg White, Red Wine). At the end of the night, we will tally up whose burger was ordered the most and reveal the new president.

The November Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse
Gear up for the biggest race meeting of the season so far. It’s true that all roads lead to The Festival but the magic starts now at The November Meeting. Whilst Cheltenham may be racing behind closed doors, that doesn’t mean you can’t have plenty of fun. An unmissable three-day meeting, stay involved through the Jump Season Hub for a digital racecard, news, and top tips. Highlights include: ‘The Mucking Brilliant Paddy Power Handicap Chase’ on Countryside Day, ‘The Paddy Power Gold Cup Steeple Chase’ on the Saturday and, finally, on the Sunday, don’t miss ‘The Unibet Greatwood Hurdle Race’ at 3pm.

Boomtown Rats at Cheltenham Town Hall
The Boomtown Rats are back with a UK tour to celebrate the long-awaited release of ‘Citizens Of Boomtown’, their first new studio album since 1984. Formed in 1975 in Dublin, these Irish rockers exploded out of Ireland in ’76. Their fast, loud and furious music saw Bob Geldof and his band soar to the top of the burgeoning punk scene. They soon became one of the biggest bands of the late 70s/80s with a string of top ten era-defining hits and platinum albums, earning them countless awards. So why a new record now? In the words of Geldof: ‘Because there’s so much to respond to in this new and different febrile atmosphere that we live in.’
